Scholarships and Financial Aid

 

Approximately 65% of NCTA students receive some form of financial assistance including grants, low-interest loans, college work study and numerous scholarships. The deadline for the NCTA scholarship form is March 1, 2010. Contact the NCTA Scholarships and Financial Aid Office for more information about available scholarships and financial programs. College is the ultimate investment for the future.

The NCTA Scholarship and  Financial Aid Office is located on the 2nd Floor of Ag Hall. Please stop by, call or email if you have questions regarding scholarships and financial aid at the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture.

Office Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.


Scholarship Program

Academic Scholarship

The Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture Academic Scholarship and Financial Aid Program provides competitive, merit-based financial assistance to students who enroll for full-time study. These scholarships are based solely on academic achievement and promise.


Leadership Scholarship

The Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture Leadership Scholarship Program invests in students who have demonstrated leadership, cooperation, vision, initiative, commitment, skills as demonstrated through program outcomes. These scholarships are awarded to applicants who enroll for full-time study. Leadership scholarships will also be awarded to current full-time NCTA students who have made significant contributions to the campus community. All applicants are encouraged to have letters of recommendations sent to the NCTA Scholarship Committee from club, organization, or chapter advisors.


Activity Scholarship

The Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture Activity Scholarship Program was created for students involved in team activities. To be considered for an Activity Scholarship, students must show excellence in their respective areas of activity. Activity scholarships may be awarded to students competing in Basketball, Volleyball, Golf, Rodeo, Livestock Judging, and Horse Show Team. Scholarships will be awarded by the head coach of his or her team.
