Aggies Begin 2006 Season
CURTIS, Neb. - The Curtis Aggie Volleyball team, behind a an 11-5 record from last season and 4 returners, are looking forward to a fun season this year. The team will be led by standouts Kaytlyn Cooksey of Roggen, CO and Codi Staub of Johnstown, NE.
Sharina Buoy of Bassett and Jessica Bush of Arcadia, both sophomores, came off the bench last season and are showing leadership for the 2006 Aggies. More

Sleight to introduce entrepreneurship, research
CURTIS, Neb. – The University of Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture’s new Dean, Weldon Sleight, has taken little time to identify new directions for the school in Curtis, Neb. As fall classes begin on Aug. 21, 2006, Sleight will work to introduce entrepreneurship throughout the curriculum. Although agriculture is becoming more diversified, he said that “we need to think new thoughts about the way we do business in agriculture.” More
