Ruttman Awarded PTK Scholarship
Curtis, Ne, May 1, 2007: - The University of Nebraska-Lincoln has announced that Brittany Ruttman of Grand Island has been awarded a $500 Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship. Recipients of this scholarship must be a member of Phi Theta Kappa, the transfer student honorary, and meet transfer scholarship criteria.
Miss Ruttman is a graduate of Grand Island Northwest High School and is attending NCTA as a veterinary technician student. Along with her coursework, she is also involved in the Student Technicians of Veterinary Medicine Association and heads up the Safari Club. In addition, she also works as a math tutor and is active in Phi Theta Kappa honorary.
