NCTA Hires New Agribusiness Program Chair
CURTIS, NE, FEBRUARY 19, 2008: - The Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture (NCTA) recently promoted Krystle Friesen as the new head of the Agribusiness Management Systems Department.
Friesen, a native of Hamlet, Nebraska, earned an Associate of Science degree from Eastern Wyoming College and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wyoming. She completed her Masters' degree at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Friesen farms with her husband, Josh, on a farm south of Wallace. She is the daughter of Wayne and Noreen Christner.
Since arriving at NCTA as a part-time instructor in January 2007, she has gotten involved in many of the new initiatives being undertaken at the college. "I'm excited about our push to integrate entrepreneurship across all of our programs," Friesen shares. "It prepares our students to enter the workforce with management skills and hopefully, the desire to start their own business."
