NCTA Library Receives $250 Grant

CURTIS, NE, MARCH 5, 2008: - The Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture (NCTA) was recently awarded a $250 grant from the Wal-Mart Foundation.  The grant was awarded to continue funding materials for a collection on Agriculture Terrorism.

Mo Khamouna, Information Curator at NCTA, is excited about the materials the library will receive as a result of the grant funding.  "We aim to stay on the cutting edge of topics related to agriculture for the benefit of our faculty and students," shared Khamouna.  "Agriculture terrorism is a hot topic, and these materials will assist our students in learning more about it."

Khamouna also praised the Wal-Mart Foundation for their support of NCTA.  "This is the sixth grant we have received to help fund this particular project," he adds.  "Their support allows us to expand our materials on this subject on a regular basis."

The Wal-Mart Foundation is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to giving and doing whatever they can to help improve the quality of life for their customers, address environmental issues, and promote education.
