CURTIS, NE, MARCH 31, 2008: - Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture (NCTA) veterinary technology student Rachel Rosas will get to put her education into action when she embarks on a one-year internship with the Animal Medical Center in New York, New York.
Rosas, a native of Grand Island, is currently a 2nd year vet tech student at NCTA, and is slated to graduate this May. Her internship is scheduled to begin June 2008.
Rosas is excited about the upcoming internship. "I hope to gain a great deal of experience based on the large number of cases the clinic sees on a daily basis," Rosas shares.
When asked about her future plans, Rosas indicated she might want to stay out in New York if job prospects look good. Her goal is to work at a larger small animal clinic.
