NCTA -An Accredited Institution

The Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture has been granted accreditation status with the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.  The American Veterinary Medical Association accredits the Veterinary Technology program.  In addition, the College is approved to offer courses and majors for veterans benefits and training under the War Orphans Act.

Comments From Public

Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture is seeking comments from the public about the College in preparation for its periodic evaluation by its regional accrediting agency.  The College will host a visit March 28-29, 2016, with a team representing the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association. Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture has been accredited by the Commission since 2003. The team will review the institution’s ongoing ability to meet the Commission’s Criteria for Accreditation.

Veterinary Technology Accreditation

The Veterinary Technology Program at NCTA has been accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) Committee on Veterinary Technician Education and Activities (CVTEA) since the early 1970s.  The next accreditation site visit is scheduled for fall of 2020.

Reaffirmation of Accreditation
