Center Pivot Technician
Hydro Engineering’s Irrigation Division, located in Rockville, is looking to hire a motivated, hard- working individual who would like to have a career with a company that is growing and evolving in the Irrigation/Ag Market.
Ideal candidate will have solid knowledge and understanding of irrigation equipment and center pivots, strong mechanical aptitude regarding electrical repair and maintenance, a valid driver’s license, preferably a CDL. This position will require occasional weekday, overnight travel.

Qualifications and Skills
- Technical/Trade School or experience with center pivot irrigation equipment
- Broad base of irrigation equipment knowledge
- Strong aptitude regarding electrical repair and maintenance
- Excellent trouble shooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to perform basic diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on customer pipelines and irrigation well pumps
- Completes all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments
- Accountability for all time on a repair order and for all material used in performing assigned duties
- Interacts in a positive and respectful manner with customers and fellow employees
- Meets time expectations of punctuality and productivity
- Maintains condition of vehicles, inventory, tools and equipment
- Welding experience beneficial
- Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments
- Must be willing to perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Frequent bending and stooping
- Ability to repeatedly lift up to 75 lbs.
- Standing for extended periods of time
- Outdoor work environment
- Occasional work on ladders
- Ability to use a forklift/skid loader/dozer/track excavator/trencher
- Occasional work in confined spaces
- Overnight weekday travel required
