Position Title: Farm Operations Support
Position Type: Full Time Internship potentially leading to long-term work
Organization Name: Steinert Farms
Location (City, State): Covington, OK (near Enid)
Job Description/Duties:
- General farm work on a diversified operation.
- Assist in all operations of a 15,000+ acre wheat/corn farm operation along with 5,000+ acres grassland with 200 head of cattle.
- Duties may include: crop irrigation, grain hauling, equipment operation and maintenance, agronomy support and other duties as required.
- Looking for a reliable, hardworking, self-starter
- Student or recent graduate for an internship or summer help.
Qualifications or Skills Required:
- One to three years farm experience, required.
- Valid Driver’s License, required.
- Equipment operation experience, preferred.
Working Conditions:
- Must be able to work outdoors, in extreme temperatures and weather
- Willing to work flexible hours
Physical:
- Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Must be able to regularly stand, walk, sit, bend, kneel, and climb.
Salary & Benefits:
Wage based on experience.
