A central Nebraska producer is seeking an Animal Health Manager.  Responsibilities include; checking pens, spotting, pulling sick cattle, processing, load & unload trucks, yard maintenance, etc. Qualified individual must be dependable, have good decision making skills, be a self-starter and willing to assist in other areas of the operation, though the main focus of the position is working in the feed yard. This is a 6000 head finishing yard, where cattle come in around 550-900-lb.  This is a great opportunity and good location with a well-established company.

 Animal Health Manager Education Requirements

The requirements for most animal services jobs include but are not limited to a high school diploma and secondary education, depending on the position.

- Feedlot experience & finishing yard experience is preferred

- Operating loader and other equipment around the feedlot

What a Regional Sales Manager does:
• Develops strong relationships with customers and distributors/dealers within the assigned territory. Travel within the territory is estimated at 50-75% of the time.
• Utilizes and maintains Contact Resource Management software to daily log phone calls, demos & maintain recontact schedule and prospect contact information.
• Identifies new business relationships in the assigned territory by compiling lists of prospective customers and distributors/dealers based on information from trade show, word-of-mouth, reading business publications and magazines, or other sources.
• Manages the distributor/dealer network in the assigned territory by maintaining distributor/dealer agreements, providing sales information, pricing and promotions, and coordinating marketing needs.
• Maintains and demonstrates complete knowledge of SAC or STI products and services and educates customers and distributors/dealers by emphasizing salable features the customer values.
• Monitors competitor products and services, target industries and markets affecting those industries.
• Provides distributors/dealers with updates on the status of current orders, price changes, sales promotions etc.
• Assists as necessary with the coordination of solving equipment problems with the service department.
• Represents the company and its products as outlined by senior management. Establishes himself/herself as the communication link between the company and the distributor/dealer.
• Monitors return of goods and deals with sensitive inquires or problems.
• Manages the sale process from quoting to delivery, and coordinates with other departments with any troubleshooting or customer needs after the sale.
• Researches and prepares distributor/dealer order forecast and submits to the Sales Manager.
• Represents the company at trade shows and dealer events.
• Maintains a team sales approach by working with other company representatives to help with sales and promote growth and expansion as a company.
• Occasionally may need to repair equipment at customer location.
