Stolley Park Veterinary Hospital is looking for a full time veterinary assistant to join our team. We are a progressive four doctor practice. We are AAHA accredited and dedicated to high quality medicine and great customer service. We are a 100% companion animal practice and also get the opportunity to assist numerous other local clinics with some advanced diagnostics and techniques. As a staff we prioritize a team environment to better serve everyone. The practice’s mission statement is “creating a culture of care: for our patients, for our clients, for each other, and for ourselves.” We are constantly striving to improve ourselves medically and in customer service. We currently possess the equipment and training to utilize in-house blood analysis (CBC, chemistry, and others), radiographs, ultrasound/ echocardiography, endoscopy, orthopedic surgery, and dental treatments (including digital dental radiographs) among other things. No prior experience required. We just require a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
Stolley Park Veterinary Hospital is located in Grand Island, NE. Grand Island is the third largest city and is located in Central Nebraska. The size is ideal to offer both a rural and suburban settings. We are located just over two hours from Omaha and are just minutes off of the interstate. The community offers an abundance of new shopping centers, restaurants, a hike/bike trail, numerous city parks, and easy access to local state parks.
This position will pay an hourly wage commensurate with experience.
