We are currently seeking an energetic, entry-level Market Research Analyst. This role will provide the diverse and well-rounded foundational experiences required for a successful career in marketing research.
Position Overview:
The core job functions involve providing internal clients (Vice Presidents and Project Directors) with a diverse range of marketing research support for multiple agricultural and animal health clients. You will participate as part of a collaborative team effort developing research projects that address solutions to customer problems. Initial focus is on conducting in-depth interviews and analysis, but additional work (commensurate with capabilities) may include interfacing with customers, and developing presentations. The ideal applicant is versatile, preferably with a background in crop production and/or animal health, and has demonstrated ability to produce quality work within deadlines.
After comprehensive training, the successful candidate will:
- Work with subject matter experts to develop questionnaires and guides
- Conduct in-depth interviews and moderate focus groups and compile transcribed interviews
- Proof surveys, programming, data processing, tabulations, and reports for accuracy and completeness
- Assist in the preparation of client-ready presentations in PowerPoint, Excel, and other formats
- Assist in a wide variety of other essential administrative, project management, and research tasks that arise when working in a small team environment
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- B.A/B.S. degree, with coursework in agriculture and/or animal science preferred
- General data analysis experience a plus
- Excellent writing and oral communication skills
- Attention to detail, creativity, and collaborative
- Self-starter – thirsty to learn and grow
- Effective at multi-tasking
- Demonstrated creativity and comfortable in a collaborative environment
- Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office products – particularly Word and PowerPoint
