Curtis, Neb. - Regents Scholarships to the University of Nebraska will be awarded to two graduating sophomores from the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture.

Haley Rogers of Lexington and Calvin DeVries of Fairfield were notified this month they will earn the Regents awards for their junior and senior years of study at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Rogers will study agriculture education with plans to be an agriculture teacher. DeVries plans to study animal science and go into veterinary medicine.

“Haley and Calvin are dedicated students at NCTA, and are well-deserving of this academic scholarship with our sister institution at UNL,” said NCTA Dean Ron Rosati.

“We are very proud of their success and commitments to Nebraska agriculture and wish them well at the next level of their collegiate career.”

Both students will graduate during NCTA’s commencement ceremonies on May 5.
