OFFICE ASSOCIATE

Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture, Curtis, NE

Position is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the NCTA Veterinary Technology Division/Hospital, which includes clerical, secretarial, receptionist support, and clinical related coordination and instructional support for students. Position will assist faculty in marketing and recruiting efforts, prepare and review correspondence and forms for accuracy, completeness and compliance, schedule rooms, meetings, transcribe and distribute minutes. Position will compile and prepare reports, respond to inquiries in area of responsibility, answer phones/campus switchboard rotation and greet visitors, maintain filing system, develop and maintain calendars. Position will open, sort, record and distribute mail and UPS/FedX deliveries, order and maintain division office supplies and inventories, assemble materials, packets, folders, mailings, perform data entry, proofread correspondence and materials.  Other duties include: Maintain, compile, and compute statistical data, create and maintain spreadsheets and databases, procure supplies and equipment, monitor P-card purchases, monitor classes, proctor tests, enter grades, assist advisors with student registrations, graduation checks, internship procedures, and student organizations. Position will plan fundraisers, record and balance receipts, conduct job training for student employees, functionally lead the work of student employees and may sponsor special events. FOOD SERVICE FLOOR SUPERVISOR

Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture, Curtis, NE

Position will supervise and oversee the Food Service staff and student workers and performs tasks in the multiple areas/functions of the Food Services department such as re-stocking, recipe/ingredient preparation, inventory, dish machine operation, and cleaning. Responsibilities include cost and waste control, food presentation, monitoring food quality (temperature, taste, and appearance, training, and providing customer service. Position will assist the FS Manager with clerical duties, operate the computer, perform cashiering duties and light maintenance and/or custodial work as needed and other duties as assigned. A Food Handler's permit or ability to obtain by passing the Safety and Sanitation test is necessary. A driving record review, criminal history background check and pre-placement physical will be conducted. Excellent benefits including staff/dependent scholarship program.
