Vineyard Manager
Superior Estates Winery, Superior, Nebraska, is currently accepting applications for vineyard manager.
The ideal candidate will:
- Be a detail oriented self-starter with a positive attitude and strong work ethics
- Have good leadership and organizational skills
- Be able to work independently as well as be part of a team
- Exhibit strong follow through on committments
- Be certified to apply chemicals
- Have viticulture knowledge/related horticulture degree or desire to learn
Responsibilities of the position:
- All aspects of vineyard management - pruning, training vines, harvesting
- Maintaining spray routines
- Documenting and record keeping spray routines, weather patterns, etc.
- Supervising vineyard employees on estate properties totaling 20 acres of vines
Qualifications: Possess a B.S. in Viticulture or related field and/or have a strong desire to learn. Must possess Microsoft Office computer skills including Excel and Word.
Salary is negotiable, competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.
