Job Description/Duties:
We are seeking an additional veterinary technician for our growing mixed animal practice who is enthusiastic about serving our clients and helping to improve the lives of our patients and clients. There is opportunity for working with both livestock and pets. Osceola is a very friendly, rural community in south-central Iowa on I-35, located 2 1/2 hours east of Omaha, 2 1/2 hours north of Kansas City, and 40 minutes south of Des Moines.
Qualifications or Skills Required:
Applicant should be skilled in patient handling, venipuncture, dental prophylaxis, and anesthesia administration and monitoring. Enjoying client interaction and communication is very important as we strive to give outstanding service to all. Ability to work chute-side for cattle-work is beneficial but is not required for this position. Skilled technicians of all experience levels are encouraged to apply.
