The NCTA Writing Center is a place where NCTA students, faculty, and staff can get help for ongoing writing projects. At the Writing Center, writers can receive feedback from proficient writers on writing assignments, reports, essays, research papers, grants, resumes, letters, business plans, and other forms of academic or professional prose.

Why should I use the Writing Center?
Perhaps you need help developing ideas for an essay. Maybe you want to work on a paper’s organization, flesh out an argument, or cite sources correctly. The Writing Center can assist you during any stage of the writing process.
Can I drop off a paper and pick it up later?
The Writing Center is not a proofreading service. The goal is to help you become a better writer, not just to produce a better paper. If the consultant did all the work, you wouldn’t learn anything. (And the two of you could be committing an academic offense.) When you come to the Writing Center expect to work with a skilled writer in a one-on-one setting to improve your assignment.
Where is the Writing Center located?
The Writing Center is located in Agricultural Hall Room 2.
