Hilltop Seeds, a well-established seed dealership and Nelms Farms, a family-owned, diversified grain and cattle operation is looking for help within the seed dealership and seasonal help with farm operations.
Duties may include some or all:
Dealership duties; field scouting, seed warehouse and inventory management, assistance with ag sales, some record and bookkeeping, and seed delivery.
Farm; harvest help such as grain cart, combine, or truck driver depending on skills, managing cattle herd such as mixing and feeding, calving, tagging, working and doctoring calves, fencing, spring field work, planting, and other general farm duties as assigned
Ideal candidate would have a valid driver's license, some experience working and sorting cattle, some basic farm equipment operating experience, ability to adapt and change duties and task within the work day and enjoy a challenging and changing environment, and must be able to lift at least 60lbs.
-Starting hourly wage $13/hr with chance for increase based on skills,
-May be housing opportunity for summer based internship
-work vehicle provided pending valid driver's license
-opportunity to be more involved in the farming/cattle or in the seed dealership pending interest and skills
