GROW AND LEARN
AT A BEAUTIFUL CAMPUS

Agronomists specialize in producing and improving field crops while sustaining the soil and water resources that are essential for crop production. Education in agricultural and irrigation equipment service and repair is also included in this area of study. Hands-on learning opportunities are featured as you venture out of the classroom and into our campus landscape, greenhouses, 500+ acre college farm, mechanics and welding shops.

BEYOND THE
CLASSROOM

Beyond what you'll learn in class, you'll have the opportunity to be a part of clubs, organizations and extracurricular activities directly related to your major.

Horticulture Club - Activities include campus landscaping projects; and plant and vegetable sales throughout the year to raise money that club members can use to attend professional meetings, seminars, and workshops.

Farm Bureau Club  - Become knowledgeable about issues affecting agriculture and ag policy development, and attend Farm Bureau's annual meeting, and the Young Farmers and Ranchers conference.

Other activities you may be interested in include: Rodeo Team, Equestrian Teams, and Livestock Judging Team.
