Job Description:
Sandhills ranch, located near Brownlee, NE seeking calving intern, with possibility of staying on through summer. We run a commercial herd of Angus cows and heifers. The heifers start calving the middle of February and cows the first week of March. Heifers were AI'ed and synchronized with CIDR's. Duties would include but aren't limited to: checking heavy cows, assisting with pulling calves, tagging calves, pairing out and other day to day chores.
Qualifications or Skills Required:
We do most things horseback but have a ranger and 4-wheeler. Room, meals and negotiable salary provided.
Big possibility to stay on through the summer and help in hayfield. We put up about 4500 bales a year. Please call for an interview and send resume to email address below.
