Job Description/Duties: The duties are consistent with that of a certified veterinary technican. We are a mixed animal practice in northeastern Colorado with 5 doctors. The newest technician would work almost entirely with small animals, although potential exists to work on large if desired (not required). you would be learning from threee of the greatest technicians ever. We have an in-house heska blood machine, digital x-ray processor and a cold laser treatement that we want to utilize more. We do not board but occasionally the technican would have to clean a cage or two. (We do employ a part time kennel assistant.)
Qualifications or Skills Required:
- Must have or be working toward a Colorado license.
- Must be able to stand for long period sof time.
- Must be able to communiate with co-workers, employers and clientele.
- Must be able to have some fun.
Some Saturdays required although a 1/2 to full day off during the week. No sever animal allergies will be able to withstand the job.
Salary & Benefits: Discussed in detail at interview. Industry standard based on experience for salary. AFter 90 days, medical benefit and paid time off (40 hr work week). AFter 1 year 401K.
