Location: Schuyler, NE or Richland, NE
Qualified applicants will be responsible for blending, loading and delivering fertilizer and pesticides to local customers.
They will also be responsible for operating various equipment for pesticide and chemical application in a safe and effective manner.
We would like someone with basic knowledge of application equipment.
We are willing to train the right individuals, helping them obtain all required licenses to operate equipment, specifically a Class A CDL with Hazardous Materials and Tanker Endorsement and State of Nebraska - Commercial Pesticide Applicator's License.
Job responsibilities and duties will include the following
Operate and maintain all equipment and vehicles (sprayers, spreaders, trucks, etc.)
Mixing, loading and application of pesticides/fertilizers
Apply pesticides and fertilizers at applicable rates to the appropriate fields
Handle and deliver bulk and packaged chemicals
Perform daily vehicle inspections
Clean and maintain equipment
Maintain application/spray records
Maintain and record maintenance of application equipment
Operate liquid and dry fertilizer plants, chemical containment buildings, and NH3 plants
Operate various application equipment, tender trucks, and NH3 equipment
Assist in housekeeping and maintenance of facilities & grounds
Education and experience needed for this position:
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Experience in operating large equipment is required.
CDL and pesticide license is preferred.
Must pass a drug test and background check.

Basic knowledge of ag pesticides and weed identification.
Excellent driving record.
Accurately reads field maps.
Professional competence to safety.
Ability to pass a CDL physical examination.
Ability to work without direct supervision.
