We are a family farming operation looking for a dependable employee to join our team and grow along with our farm. This position will mostly include hauling grain, irrigation, tractor work, and equipment maintenance. Occasionally you will need to help with fencing, moving, and processing cattle. We take Sundays off except during planting and harvest. Most weekends are off in the winter. There is a heated shop for winter maintenance. Work vehicle will be provided. This is a family friendly operation in a small community. There are a lot of opportunities for spousal employment locally. Wages are negotiable and dependent on experience and references.
We are looking for an honest and reliable team player. Motivated self-starters will thrive in our work environment. Previous experience with general equipment maintenance, fabrication, welding and irrigation are all a plus. Large equipment operation skills, semi driving experience, clean DMV record. Must have a valid drivers license. We have a feedlot and cow/calf herd. Any experience dealing with livestock is a bonus as the candidate may need to help from time to time. These qualifications are all preferred. We are willing to train the right candidate.
$14 - $15 per hour beginning pay.
