Job Description/Duties
Family farm and cow/calf operation south of Lexington is looking to hire a full time employee that will work with the owner to manage the day to day tasks. We have two full-time employees at this time, but need someone that can independently operate & maintain equipment, check cows, maintain fence & watering systems and complete most other farm/ranch related duties. The position does not require you to manage other employees, however you must be able to work with others.
Qualifications or Skills Required
- Must have previous experience with livestock and/or row crop farms.
- Must be able to work independently and with other employees.
- You don't necessarily have to have extensive knowledge of both farming and cow/calf, just one is required. Both would be beneficial though.
