Install moisture probe systems through central Nebraska and NW Kansas
Perform hardware troubleshooting on those system as the need arises
Collect soil and tissue samples as needed and submit to the lab
Assist in maintenance and operation of center pivots on 24 pivots
Assist in equipment maintenance at our Axtell, NE shop
As time permits, assist in removal of moisture probe systems in early September
This position will rely on being outdoors most of the work day. A vehicle will be provided from our Axtell, NE shop to perform duties listed above.
Valid U.S. driver's license (no alcohol related citation within the last 5 years)
Ability to work independently and perform field install of hardware systems
Desire to learn about irrigation management strategies
Willing to stay overnight occasionally near Bartlett, NE
Ability to work well with others and open to perform work duties not listed above
