Large and Small animal work involved
Restraining dogs and cats during exam
Prepping for surgeries
Assisting with herd health processing during fall and spring
o Includes bull fertility tests, working baby calves, calves to grass, pre-weaning and weaning calves, assisting with c-sections and OBs on cows during calving
Small ruminant exams, vaccinations, ultrasounds and fertility tests
Equine assistance with vaccinations, pregnancy ultrasounds, radiographic exams, teeth floating/dentals, field medicine and treatments
Client communications by phone and in clinic
Organization and cleaning of equipment and instruments
Helping to keep kennels and clinic clean and organized
Assistance with inventory counts and unpackaging
Good Communication with colleagues and clients
Helpful and Friendly to colleagues and clients
Honest and hard work ethic
Can be well trained in the following or training /mentorship can be done in clinic:
Animal Restraint
Phlebotomy
IV Catheterization
BQA certified for cattle
Able to get small animal patient's vitals: Hear rate, Respiratory rate and temperature taken
After first 6 months of work – 40 hrs paid time off to be used in the next 12 months
2nd year – 80 hrs of paid time off. (PTO caps at 80 hrs/year)
Paid Holidays – 7 during the year: New Year’s Day, Easter Monday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

Pay Scale Full Time - depends on experience level with both small and large animal and time it takes to train or mentor if needed.
Hourly wage: Assistant: $12 - $16 / hour
Hourly wage: LVT: $14- $20/ hour
