Job Description/Duties:
All phases of livestock production. Care and feeding of all livestock. Operation and maintenance of all livestock equipment and facilities. All phases of crop and hay production. Operation and maintenance of all crop and hay equipment and facilities. May have some travel and overnight travel to remote campus work sites. All other jobs as assigned. Construction, repair, remodel, maintenance work on buildings and facilities. We work hard, but we have fun while working.
Qualifications or Skills Required:
We will train if we need to. What we do require is that you show up at assigned times and locations. Must be able to pass a UNL driver's background check. We sometimes leave for remote locations at 3 or 4 in the morning. Feeding livestock starts at 5:00 am. We work hard. We are the elite crew on campus. If you are a hard worker, and can get out of bed in the morning, come join us.
Salary and Benefits: Any time school isn't in session, vacations, etc, 40 hrs per week. During school, only 20 hours for student workers. $9.00 per hour.
