Rodeo Coach/Advisor – Adjunct Instructor


Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture in Curtis, NE, is seeking candidates for a rodeo coach/advisor for Fall Semester 2019 and Spring Semester 2020. Must be able to attend competitive rodeo team events. Assist with recruiting, student organizations, and other departmental and college activities as may be needed. This position also serves as an adjunct instructor for the rodeo seminar course taught twice per week each semester.

Start date is Monday, August 19, 2019. Review of applications will begin on August 9.

Qualifications:

This position requires an associate’s degree in an agricultural or closely related field from a regionally accredited institution, effectiveness in a teaching environment and excellent communication skills. Preferred qualifications are a bachelor’s degree in a related agricultural discipline, relevant rodeo experience, previous teaching experience, experience facilitating student engagement through teams, recruiting experience and fundraising success.
