Job Description/Duties:
Looking for a full time employee interested in beef production. Responsible for the care of cattle at the Beef Research Feedlot. Duties include assisting with general construction and maintenance of equipment and facilities, daily feeding, animal health, and assist graduate students with research trials. Other duties as assigned. A Nebraska Commercial Driver's License required or must be obtained within six months of hire. Qualifications or Skills Required:
Minimun Required Qualifications:
High school diploma plus one year of agricultural experience required: equivalent education/experience considered. Must have cattle and/or feedlot experience along with experience operating farm and feeding equipment.
Preferred Qualifications: Associates Degree in Agriculture or related field. Knowledge of animal health and care. Good communication skills and basic computer skills.
