Upper Elkhorn NRD Agronomy Resource Technician
The Upper Elkhorn NRD is accepting applications for a full time Agronomy Resource Technician. Primary responsibilities are to assist in implementation of UENRD Rules and Regulations pertaining to water quality. This position will provide technical/compilation support on data collection related to nitrate nitrogen. This individual will work directly under the Water Resources Manager and directly with landowners/producers to inform/educate on Best Management Practices to reduce nitrogen leaching. A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture/Agronomy or Natural Resources and/or experience working in a nutrient management field is required. Communication skills and knowledge of Microsoft office programs and ArcGIS experience is highly beneficial. The salary range is $35,000-$55,000 plus vacation, medical, and retirement benefits.
