Job Description/Duties:
Hartford Veterinary Clinic, currently a one doctor small animal practice, near Sioux Falls, SD. The ideal candidate should be a compassionate, self-motivated individual who possess strong communication, organizational and teamwork skills. This position is responsible for communicating with clients and staff in a professional manner both in person and over the phone and be comfortable handling pet patients in a variety of sizes and species. Duties will include, but are not limited to- greeting clients and patients, processing appointments, filing, collecting payments, light cleaning, answering or directing inquiries about services and/or products and supporting other team members. Must also be able to assist veterinarian and adminster medications under veterinarian's supervision.
Qualifications or Skills Required:
An associate of applied science degree in veterinary technology is desired but not necessary. The individual must also be knowledgeable in computers and have the ability to learn a computer software program.
