We are a progressive, three-doctor large animal practice looking for a veterinary technician student to join us for their internship! We are passionate about training future large animal veterinary technicians in beef cattle and equine practice! Our veterinarians are Dr. Scott Reynolds, DVM (KSU 1994), Dr. Jack Smith, DVM (NE-IA 2013), and Dr. McKenzie Beals, DVM (NE-IA 2021). We currently have four support staff as well! Our work is very seasonal and includes at the veterinary clinic, on-ranch, and at the local sale barn. For a spring internship, you can expect to experience calving, bull fertility evaluations, cattle/calf processing, operating hydraulic chutes, sick patient appointments, surgeries, sale barn work, and more!
