Veterinary Technician position as a Valued Team Member:   

 We are a modern mixed animal veterinary practice in Eastern Colorado. Our organization is a solid and growing 2 veterinarian team and is in search of an individual to help sustain and grow the practice. Our staff is focused on patient and client care communication and are excellent with being cross-trained in all aspects of the business.  For patient care, we have invested in on-site laboratory equipment, in-house and portable radiology, ultrasound, Tonopen, Pulse Ox, EKG, Laser Therapy unit, Silencer chute, portable tub alley way, indoor calving/surgical pen, subscription to global vet link, isolation area for calves, Avimark software, equine PRP equipment, and IV administration units.   Most importantly, an excellent staff that are valued for their abilities to support our agricultural business. Eastern Colorado Veterinary Services is proud to adhere to Beef Quality Assurance Standards when providing care to our large animal patients.

Limon, Colorado, is our main base of operation, with extension of up to 60 miles for outlying communities and producers.   Our clinic attempts to be active in community support, offering informational outreach, involvement in the local chamber, participation in civic events/projects, and proudly supports the local 4-H and FFA programs.  Eastern Colorado has a thriving agritourism industry and a variety of outdoor activities inclusive of hunting, hiking, fairs, birdwatching and historical sites.  

We are searching for the self-motivated, team player certified veterinary technician with excellent communication exhibiting our core values of honesty, medicine and compassion for patients including respect of clients and staff.  Applicants should be comfortable with both large and small animal medicine and surgery and be able to complete patient records in a timely and thorough manner.  In order to maintain our level of work ethic, employees must be able to work well with all staff assisting in all daily tasks, taking the lead in patient care and being respectful and able to communicate politely and professionally.
