Job Description/Duties:
Sunderman Feedlot is currently looking to add a Feedlot Cattle Health Tech (Pen Rider) to its full-time crew. Duties would include aiding the crew in all aspects of riding pens, doctoring and processing cattle, receiving and shipping cattle, as well as aiding in general feedlot maintenance. Individual will need to be flexibble in hours to accomodate shipping in early morning and willing to work most weekends. We appreciate/reward a strong work ethic.
Qualifications or Skills Required:
Individual must be dependable, honest, hardworking, self-motivated, and have willingness to continue learning. Individual must be able to learn how to safely ride a horse, identify and pull sick cattle, follow correct treatment protocols including pharmaceutical administration and withdrawals. Individual must utilize approved cattle handling methods at all times.
Salary & Benefits:
Base hourly wage dependant on experience. Discussed in detail upon interview.
