Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture in Curtis, NE, is seeking candidates for an Academic year non-tenure leading Assistant Professor in Agribusiness Management Systems major available August 17, 2015. Develop and teach courses within the Agribusiness Management Systems (AMS) major, including the development and updating of course outlines, lesson plans, power point presentations, and course materials for both lecture and laboratory formats utilizing new technologies. This position requires a conferred Master's degree in Agribusiness or closely related field from an accredited institution, understanding and use of computer technology and excellent communication skills. Preferred qualifications include previous college teaching experience with background in education, practical agribusiness and/or entrepreneurship experience and practical experience in production agriculture with familiarity in Cornbelt/Great Plains agriculture, fundraising experience and previous experience sponsoring student activities and/or clubs and organizations.

Develop and teach courses within the Agribusiness Management Systems (AMS) major, including the development and updating of course outlines, lesson plans, power point presentations, and course materials for both lecture and laboratory formats utilizing new technologies. Will serve as the Division Chair of the AMS Major being responsible for division curriculum, budgets, day by day supervising faculty and support staff within division, new program and facilities development and responsible for semester scheduling of courses, instructors and classrooms. This position requires a conferred Master's degree in Agribusiness or closely related field from an accredited institution, understanding and use of computer technology and excellent communication skills. Preferred qualifications include previous college teaching experience with background in education, practical agribusiness and/or entrepreneurship experience and practical experience in production agriculture with familiarity in Cornbelt/Great Plains agriculture, fundraising experience and previous experience sponsoring student activities and/or clubs and organizations.

Food Service Associate-Curtis, NE (9 or 10-month position: 6:00am-2:30pm, M-F)

Position performs tasks in multiple areas/functions in cafeteria and deli food services such as setting up and closing down stations, cooking, re-stocking, recipe/ingredient preparation, inventory, dish machine operation, and cleaning. Responsibilities include cost and waste control, food presentation, monitoring food quality (temperature, taste, and appearance), training, and providing customer service. Position will operate the computer, perform cashiering duties and light maintenance and/or custodial work as needed. Other duties as assigned. Position requires Food Handler's permit or the ability to obtain a permit by passing the Safety and Sanitation test. Position requires pushing/pulling carts that may exceed 50 lbs. when fully loaded; and requires lifting and moving of heavy items, occasionally up and down stairs. ACCOUNTING ASSOCIATE

Position will provide varied and complex duties related to the accounting, payroll, student/temp employee personnel functions of the college requiring independent judgment in accordance with policies and procedures. Position will coordinate HR/payroll function for student temp/on call employees, perform time entry, reconcile payroll and prepare, monitor and analyze reports. Position will oversee campus procurement, including eSHOP and materials management systems and processes, reconcile accounts and funds balances, process journal entries, internal charges and transfers, authorize payments and send accounts to collections as may be needed. Position will coordinate motor pool transportation processes with facilities, participate in planning and conducting of internal audits and other reviews, process bank deposits and submit transmittals to UNL Bursar and serve as liaison with dean's office on compliance for campus events. Position will provide oversight and financial reporting for campus leased equipment and serve as liaison with Residence Life Manager on student clubs and organizations in accordance with Board of Regents policy and report and account for transactions as required.
