ASSISTANT PROFESSOR-AGRIBUSINESS MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS
Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture is seeking candidates for an Assistant Professor position in Agribusiness Management Systems major available January 4, 2016. Duties include developing and teaching courses within the Agribusiness Management Systems (AMS) major, including the development and updating of course outlines, lesson plans, power point presentations, and course materials for both lecture and laboratory formats utilizing new technologies. This position requires a conferred master’s degree in agribusiness or closely related field from a regionally accredited institution, understanding and use of computer technology and excellent communication skills. Preferred qualifications include previous college teaching experience, practical agribusiness and/or entrepreneurship experience and practical experience in production agriculture with familiarity in Cornbelt/Great Plains agriculture, and previous experience sponsoring student activities and/or clubs and organizations, including fundraising. NCTA faculty are faculty of the University of Nebraska who are assigned academic rank, but are not eligible for continuous appointment (tenure).
