Busy emergency only hospital in Lincoln NE is seeking hard working, detail oriented, licensed veterinary technicians to join our team. Part-time and full-time positions are available. We are in our eleventh year and are in need of additional staff due to our growing practice. Our valuable technicians work alongside veterinarians to provide high quality, compassionate healthcare on nights, weekends and holidays to pets in Lincoln... and the surrounding area. You will fully utilize the skills you learned in school. Duties include but are not limited to triage, patient history, physical exams, venipuncture, automated bloodwork with an Idexx Lasercyte CBC machine and Abaxis Vet Scan chemistry machine, taking radiographs using an Idexx Digital radiograph machine, fecal exams, Feleuk/FIV testing, urinalysis, placing and maintaining IV catheters using Heska IV pumps, administering and monitoring patients under Isoflurane anesthesia using pulse oximetry and EKG machines and surgical assisting.
