Curtis, Neb. - The Annual Plant Sale at the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture will be April 30 and May 5 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the NCTA Greenhouse in Curtis.

The plant sale is conducted every year by the NCTA Horticulture Club and this year features coleus, peppers, tomatoes, irises, houseplants, and more.

“This is a great opportunity for the public to see the Horticulture facilities, and purchase a lot of unique plants at low prices, while supporting the Horticulture Team at the college,” said Tee Bush, horticulture professor.

With graduation and Mother’s Day, the timing is ideal. The project showcases the NCTA’s horticulture program, while generating proceeds for the NCTA club to travel to a yearly national landscape contest, added Bush.

The NCTA greenhouse is near Siminoe Road on campus, two blocks north of Hwy. 23.
