Job Description/Duties:
Looking for an exceptional, hard-working, professional dog groomer for a small, but very busy 28 year predominantly small animal Veterinary Clinic in the Southeast corner of SD. This is a great opportunity for an individual who would like to groom without the head aches of owning their own shop. We provide the facilities, reception, advertising, shampoos, dryers and clippers. You bring self-motivation, energy, dependability, team player, attention to detail talents and a smile!
Veterinary & Kennel Assistant duties will include blood draws, lab analysis, surgery prep & assist, dentals, restraint, walking, social interaction, feeding, watering, cleaning of kennels and runs.
Qualifications or Skills Required:
Looking for someone who is compassionate and gentle with the pets and clients, who has a calm, friendly and happy personality, good communication verbal and written skills, multi-tasker, reliable, handle high traffic at times and team player.
Grooming Experience, hand scissoring and good clipper talent preferred, but willing to train the right individual. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Veterinary Technician or Assistant skills a plus.
