Immediate opening for veterinary technician, Goshen Veterinary Clinic, Torrington, WY
Practice Description: Mixed animal; 40:60 large to small animal; Most of large animal is beef cattle and horses.
Hours: Full time (8-5 M-F, Weekends split with other technicians), evening on call work split with other technicians.
Duties to include but not limited to: Large & Small animal anesthesia induction and monitoring, catheter placement, blood collection (mostly small animal), lab work (we have blood chemistry and CBC machines), taking x-rays, patient restraint, large & small animal surgery assistance, patient treatments, kennel clean-up, accompanying vets on country calls, some receptionist work, small animal dentals.
Wage: Commensurate with experience, new grad starts at $11.50/hr.
