Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant, Hoxie Veterinary Service, P.A.

Full time position available at Hoxie Veterinary Service, P.A. of Hoxie, Kansas, for a Certified Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant. Duties include assisting veterinarians in a mixed animal veterinary practice including processing cattle both at the clinic and in the country, assisting veterinarians at livestock auctions, treatment and care of both large and small animals, as well as laboratory and clerical tasks. We are looking for someone who has the ability to multi task and who communicates well. Preference will be given to someone who has training and education in Veterinary Technology, Animal Science, Animal Health Management, or related degree, and has the experience and physical strength to work with cattle and horses.  Benefits include paid sick leave, vacation and holidays; overtime pay, medical insurance, and retirement plan.
