Chase Glover didn’t think college was for him. He knew he wanted to work in agriculture, but he wasn’t big on school. So, he figured he would go straight into the workforce after graduating from high school in Grand Island, Nebraska.

The twelve dedicated Aggie graduates receiving degrees or certificates in December are ready to impact the agriculture and animal health industries. December graduates may choose to walk in the commencement ceremony to be held on May 9, 2024.

CURTIS, Neb. – A total of ninety years of service among six valued staff were celebrated at the recent faculty and staff in-service. The University of Nebraska recognizes employees across Nebraska for their years of service. Dean Larry Gossen presented the 2023 Employee Service Awards to those reaching five-year milestones with a plaque, clock, or other memento provided by the NU system. He noted his gratitude for the longevity of service represented at NCTA.

Happy Holidays from Dean Larry Gossen,

It’s the most wonderful time of the year. Starting in November, through the Thanksgiving season, and all the way through the end of the calendar year, I just love the atmosphere, the attitudes, and the opportunities to show our gratitude.

Regardless of which holiday you observe during the season, one thing they all have in common is a focus on gifts, family, friends, and celebrations. I, for one, celebrate Christmas, but I have friends who celebrate other holidays during this time.
