Stock Dog Team gives students the opportunity to work with and train their own stock dog. Open to any student on campus. Participants practice twice weekly, on campus with their dogs. We host and compete in cattle dog trials, in conjunction with the region’s Outback Stock Dog Association. Our competition team has competed previously at the Nebraska State Fair and National Western Stock Show.

Once the kennels fill up, it is the responsibility of the student to secure housing for their dog.
We host trials on campus and in Stockville (10 miles south of Curtis) throughout the academic year. This is done through the Outback Stock Dog Association. We have also traveled to away trials as well.
