New Student Orientation

Welcome to campus NCTA Aggies!!!- Fall 2024 orientation will begin Friday, August 23, 2024!

NCTA New Student Orientation is held the weekend before classes begin each fall semester. 

 NCTA Freshman Orientation Agenda

Friday New Student Move-In: Check your email to find your move-in time
         8:00 AM-12:00 PM- Session 1
         1:00 PM- 5:00 PM- Session 2

         8:00 AM-4:00 PM- Chandie's Castle Open; Meals on your own
         5:00 PM- Dean's Welcome and Dinner in the Cafeteria

Saturday- Student Events During Day

Sunday  
         1:00 PM-5:oo PM Returning Student Move
         5:00-7:00 PM Community Pickic in the Barn (Student Union)

Please make sure you have completed the following:

☐  Visit TrueYou (Check your email for your NUID and a temporary password).  You will need your NUID number and the Password, created during the application process, moving forward.  Please commit these to memory.

☐  Log-in to your MyNCTA account: https://myncta.nebraska.edu.  Here you are able to view, edit and update: Admissions Status, Enrollment, Student Accounts, Financial Aid, Pay Bills, Complete To Do’s, Update Personal Data, Apply for Housing, and View Your Academic Progress.

☐  Complete and submit all required admissions forms: http://ncta.unl.edu/new-student-forms.  Once these forms have been received and processed, NCTA will remove the notification from your MyNCTA admissions checklist.

☐  Housing: complete and submit your request online at https://myncta.nebraska.edu. 
      Pay your deposit by phone: 308-367-5247
      Or by mail: NCTA Housing, 404 E 7th Street, Curtis Nebraska, 69025. 
      Submitting these forms and deposit will help secure your selections for housing.

☐  Stay up to date on school announcements and alerts.

☐  Are you planning to bring a personal computer, laptop, phone or other device to college?  If so, you can visit https://its.unl.edu/ to set up your: husker email, download programs, purchase devices, or simply learn more about our operating systems.
