Are you looking for an adventure to one of Nebraska’s hidden treasures? If so, NCTA has created one, just for you!

Come on over to enjoy a self-guided walking tour featuring our oldest and most upstanding campus members, our trees. Our campus has been a showcase of the Nebraska Statewide arboretum since 1985. An audio guide and brochures are easily accessible to lead you through our campus’s most interesting trees. From an army of ponderosa pine trees, to the unique Japanese zelkova tree, this tour will entertain and educate all ages.

You will learn a little history and the important role of NCTA in agriculture and veterinary science education since 1913. This journey is entirely on your terms! Bring your family, friends, or simply come alone and get ready to explore nature’s beauty on a unique college campus at your own pace and at your convenience.

Whether you're an aspiring botanist, a nature enthusiast, or just someone seeking a moment of peace in a hectic world, this tour is for you!

This project was created by the Nebraska Rural Fellows team, with assistance from Statewide Arboretum and the Forest Service.

The Arboretum is waiting for you on our Small Campus with a Big Impact!
