Next steps for new students!
Congratulations on becoming an NCTA Aggie! This page will guide you through the next steps to prepare for classes, housing, financial aid, orientation, and student accounts at the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture. Follow the checklist below to successfully prepare for your first semester at NCTA.

1. Visit TrueYou
Visit TrueYou (Check your email for your NUID and a temporary password), to claim your TrueYou Identity, establish a password AND enroll in Two-Factor authentication.
Keep track of your NUID number and TrueYou password, you will need them to access student services. -
2. MyNCTA
Log-in to your MyNCTA account.
View, edit and update: Admissions Status, Enrollment, Student Accounts, Financial Aid, Pay Bills, Complete To Do’s, Personal Data, Academic progress
Students can also give guardians/parents access to "My NCTA" Parent/Guest Access to see grades and make payments.

3. Apply for housing and meal plan
While in MyNCTA use the housing portal to make your requests for residence halls and meal plans. Housing fee of $100 will be billed to your student account.

4. Send Transcripts
Submit your official High School transcript or GED records to NCTA.
If you have taken college courses elsewhere, send the official transcripts.
Everything can be sent to: NCTA Registrar, 404 East 7th Street, Curtis, NE 69025.
*All transcripts must be sent to NCTA from the issuing institution

5. New Student Forms
Complete and submit all required forms. Once these forms have been received and processed, NCTA will remove the notification from your MyNCTA admissions checklist.

6. Sign-up for New Student Enrollment
Register for New Student Enrollment by clicking - HERE!
You will meet your advisor, enroll in courses, register for disability accommodations, talk to financial aid, and set up your personal devices.

7. Order Books
You can order your textbooks online and have them ready when you arrive for the semester.
