Position Summary
Ag Above The Line is seeking Drone Application Interns for an exciting opportunity working with agricultural
drones to support applications and mapping operations in South Central Nebraska during the summer. The
role will involve some long hours, some weekends, and the handling of chemicals while wearing provided
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). While a background in agriculture or UAVs is beneficial, all required
training will be provided. This position is essential for the growth and expansion of the company.
Working Conditions:
• Seasonal employment
• Hourly wages: based off experience and qualifications. Subject to end of season/acre bonus
• Hours: varied based on workload. Job is weather dependent so may be off on rainy or windy days,
however time will include some weekends. Schedule to be determined in season.
• All required PPE provided.
Supervision: This position is a hands-on job. Supervisor: Remote Drone Pilot will provide direction.
Job Requirements:
• Safety: It is the policy of Ag Above the Line to provide a safe and healthy workplace. Operations will
require the wearing of protective gear, such as gloves, mask, eye, and ear protection. The ability to
perform all tasks in a safe manner and in accordance with company policy is essential. The team and
your safety are of utmost importance.
• Operations:
o Assist in setup/teardown at operation location following Standard Operating Procedures.
o Constantly scan skies and ground for hazards, maintaining visual line of sight.
o Assist in pre-flight procedures and mission understanding.
o Verbally direct drone operators during flights.
o Assist with minor aircraft and vehicle maintenance.
o Swap batteries, load/fill drone after each flight.
o Maintain an orderly trailer and assist in cleaning.
o Mix chemicals on-site.
o Assist with trailer refilling and cleaning after base arrival.
• Physical Requirements: Physical condition must not limit the ability to walk over various terrain or
lift at least 50 lbs which is necessary to perform the basic tasks of this position. Some operations
require the wearing of protective gear that may seem heavy or restrictive. Good vision and hearing
are essential to personal safety and the safety of co-workers.
• Other tasks: as assigned.

Desired Skills/Competencies
• Willingness to learn and be challenged
• Able to work long hours, as well as work in inclement weather.
• Adept at interpreting and following maps.
• Experience mixing RUP’s preferred.
• Commercial or Private applicator license is desired, but not required
• General drone knowledge and understanding of DJI’s operating system desired.
• Strong communication, organizational, and attention to detail skills.
• Good teamwork and problem-solving skills.
• Pleasant, Helpful attitude with customers and team members
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation required
• Part 107 license beneficial, or a basic understanding is helpful

Hourly wage based off experience and qualifications, Subject to a season/acre bonus
Willing to help train and assist the right candidates in obtaining part 107 and applicators license for growth possibilities.
