Close to Kearney, Lexington, and Broken Bow
We are a commercial operation running 1100 Angus stock cows and we have about 1500 acres of crops, forages, and native hay. We are a GAP Natural, and ABS cooperating herd and artificially inseminate most of the cow herd. Primary duties would include all aspects of the farm and ranch operation such as: feeding, herd health surveillance, nutrition, and range management (including rotational grazing). Duties will also include planting, irrigation and harvesting of crops for grain and feed. We have up to date equipment and management practices. Current employees have been with the Ranch long-term.
An applicant should have the ability to be a self-starter and pay attention to detail. Housing or housing allowance will be provided. Salary will be competitive with experience. Retirement saving program available after 1 year.
