Position Title: Genetic Data Entry Technician
Position Type: part-time (30 hours/week)

Job Description/Duties:
- Provides PigTrac reports for sow cards, weekly EBV list, wean cards, and pure line identification of sows and newly entered gilts.
- Sends weekly gilt developer worksheets, new entries, weekly deaths, selection in the herd to the Logistics department
- Provides weekly defects and farrowing information to the Records Bureau department
- Maintains the EBV integrity cull list
- Maintains weekly integrity of previous breed week
- Oversees preg check group integrity
- Conducts all PDA entries, farrowing, breeds, wean, fosters, supplemental registry events
- Cleans up the check lists weekly
- Maintains all transfer sheets and paperwork for external gilt sales to PIC customers
- Organizes files and office material for forms, invoices, transfer sheets, semen delivery, and farm daily activities
- Ensures office sanitation
- Assists with laundry
- Assists in other duties as assigned
Qualifications or Skills Required:
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
This position will require the physical ability to do repetitive motions for extended periods of time. To be able to bend, kneel and squat frequently. This position will also require a lot of attention to details.
EDUCATATION & WORK EXPERIENCE:
· High School Diploma or Associate degree preferred
· 1-2 years experience in data entry field
