Position Title
The Maschhoffs is excited to offer 6 internship opportunities for students to join us next summer for a 12-week internship. Our program pairs students with managers and leaders for a one-on-one mentoring experience, providing unparalleled hands-on learning and interaction. Interns will complete both individual and team projects while gaining exposure to multiple areas of a large-scale swine production system. We are especially excited to offer internships across diverse areas of our business, including:
1. Production Operations
2. Research & Development
3. Health & Animal Care
4. Procurement & Strategic Sourcing
5. Nutrition & Feed Operations
The summer internship application deadline is October 15.

Job Description
- A flyer is also attached for our Leadership Experience Externship (LEE program) that will take place January 6-8, 2027. This three-day leadership experience offers a view inside a large family-owned and operated swine business. This program provides opportunity to learn about overview of our company and careers available in agriculture, developing solution to real-world management scenarios, professional development, networking and more! This application will be published and accepting applications October 19th through November 13.
Qualifications or Skills Required
Each Internship opportunity is described on the flyer. Some interns will be based out of the Carlyle, IL area and others based out of the Pittsfield, IL area
