Immediate opening for an intern or full time position on a farm/ranch operation. The ideal job candidate would be self-motivated individual with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. Knowledge or experience in cattle, calving, feeding and low stress handling. On the farm side knowledge or experience of planting, spraying, harvesting, haying and some irrigation. On farm maintenance is done so mechanical skills are important. CDL is a plus. Willingness to learn if some area is not known.
Farm is located 9 miles from town. Stratton has grocery store, gas station, post office, churches, elementary school and other services.
Wages, benefits and housing negotiable. Families are welcome.
